Dual Crown:
The tapers on the ends of the conveyor pulley provides a corrective belt tracking force that pulls the belt to the center of the pulley, allowing the belt to NOT wear out in the center, lengthening the life of the conveyor belt
Center Crown:
Creates excessive belt wear- steep taper causes the middle of belt to wear out.
Crown provides belt tracking, but causes belt wear and stretch, which decreases belt life.
Flat Face:
Provides even wear surface for the conveyor belt to ride on- belt does not wear out in the middle, which lengthens the life of conveyor belt.
No tracking forces are applied to the belt
Opti-Crown:
CEMA standard taper, 6” flat at center prevents premature wear on the conveyor belt.
