Purpose of a V-Groove:

• Assists with belt tracking
• Because v-grooves are not to drive the belt, our manufacturing dimensions are 1/4 ” wider and 1/16” deeper than standard v-belt dimensions which allows smooth v-guide operations between the conveyor pulley and conveyor belt.
• Used in short/wide applications where length to width ratio is 3:1 (3 feet wide/1 foot long)
